Gaming News: Joker Returns to Gaming in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Rocksteady’s Take on DC Elseworlds Means Anything Goes
Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, will feature the return of the Joker, who died in the previous Arkham games.
This new version of the Joker will be coming from an alternate reality, where he “hadn’t reached supervillain status before Brainiac invaded”, according to Rocksteady. He’s younger, “unhinged in a different way,” and more of a team player.
The Joker will use a rocket-powered umbrella to traverse Metropolis and beat up his enemies. He’ll also use a variety of weapons, including firearms.
Rocksteady has said that this new Joker is “only the first of the new Suicide Squad recruits you could meet through the ongoing additions” to Kill the Justice League.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Coming to PlayStation, PC, and Xbox
Rocksteady has promised that the game will have a generous amount of post-launch content, including new characters, missions, and maps.
