Mega Star Chiranjeevi Welcomes Trisha Back to Telugu Cinema with Vishwambhara
Trisha Returns to Telugu Cinema After Almost a Decade
After a decade-long absence, Trisha Krishnan is making a grand comeback to Telugu Cinema with Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film, Vishwambhara.
Trisha announced her return to Telugu Cinema on her Instagram and Twitter accounts, expressing her excitement for her “homecoming.”
The actress joined the cast and crew of Vishwambhara on Monday and was warmly welcomed by Chiranjeevi and the rest of the team.
Trisha and Chiranjeevi Reunite After 18 Years
Trisha and Chiranjeevi previously worked together in the 2006 film Stalin, which was a massive hit at the box office.
The duo was supposed to reunite in Chiranjeevi’s 2022 film Acharya, but Trisha opted out of the project due to creative differences.
However, the wait is finally over as Trisha and Chiranjeevi are now set to share the screen once again in Vishwambhara.
Trisha’s Journey in Telugu Cinema
Trisha made her Telugu debut in 2004 with the film Varsham, which starred Prabhas as the male lead.
After appearing in a few more Telugu films, Trisha shifted her focus to Tamil cinema in 2015 with the film Cheekati Rajyam.
Her 2016 film Nayaki was dubbed in Telugu, but she primarily worked in Tamil and Malayalam films in the following years.
With Vishwambhara, Trisha marks her grand return to Telugu Cinema after a long gap of nine years.
Chiranjeevi has already begun shooting for Vishwambhara, which is a fantasy drama film directed by Mallidi Vassishta.
The film features an ensemble cast, including Vikram, Vamsi, and Pramod.
Vishwambhara is produced by UV Creations and features music composed by MM Keeravaani and cinematography by Chota K Naidu.
Chiranjeevi‘s daughter Sushmita is designing the costumes for the film.
The makers are targeting a release date of January 10, 2024, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival.
