After Céline Dion Gave Taylor Swift the Award for Album of the Year at the Grammys 2024, They Warmly Embraced Backstage at the Award Ceremony. Take a Look at the Photographs.
Karma is a warm embrace from a fellow pop symbol!
After Céline Dion presented the final honor at the 2024 Grammys for album of the year to Taylor Swift for her 2022 project Midnights, the pop superstar, age 34, celebrated her victory by giving the pop legend, age 55, a warm embrace backstage.
During the award ceremony held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, the two stars were photographed in a sweet embrace backstage. In the adorable shot, Swift delicately put her arm across Dion to place her hand on her shoulder, and the two rested their heads against one another’s. They appeared overjoyed to be meeting, beaming as they posed for their shared photograph.
The “My Heart Will Go On” singer wore a light pink gown with a burnt orange coat, while the “Lavender Haze” singer wore a white, corseted Schiaparelli dress, resulting in a subtle twinning moment as both outfits included thigh-high cuts and gorgeous, wrapped fabric.
Despite internet rumors claiming that Swift ignored Dion when she received the coveted album of the year award while celebrating her triumph, the two seemed to be in high spirits backstage.
It was a meaningful moment for both artists as well.
By taking home the Gramophone for album of the year, the “Anti-Hero” singer created history because she is now the only artist to have won the honor four times. (Midnights, Fearless, 1989, and Folklore have all won the award.)

She said, “I would love to tell you that this is the best moment in my life. However, I experience this happiness when I finish a song, find the solution to a bridge I adore, shoot list a Music video, practice with my dancers and band, or prepare to travel to Tokyo for a concert.” as she received the honor.
“To me, the award is the work,” continued the 14-time Grammy winner. “All I want to do is keep doing this. I like it so much. I’m overjoyed by it. It astounds me that it also makes others who voted for this honor pleased. I only want to keep doing this. I appreciate you providing me the opportunity to pursue my passion,” she said.

When she graced the stage at Crypto.com Arena to give the night’s final prize, she astounded and pleased the A-list crowd, earning a standing ovation.
“I love you back, everyone. I truly mean it from my heart when I say how happy I am to be here,” said the Canadian singer who was given a diagnosis of stiff person syndrome in 2022, a rare and incurable neurological condition. She also urged the crowd to “never take for granted” the joy that Music brings.
Swift’s big night at the 66th yearly Grammy Awards also included a victory for best pop vocal album for Midnights. She also thrilled her ardent Swifties during her acceptance address for her first win of the night by announcing that her 11th studio album is forthcoming. She disclosed that the upcoming project, titled The Tortured Poets Department, will be available to stream on April 19.
