Exclusive – Abhishek Kumar on Munawar Faruqui Winning Bigg Boss 17: I Wanted to Win the Show Badly But When Munawar Got the Trophy I Actually Did Not Feel Bad, ‘Mera Bhai Jeeta’ – Times of India
Abhishek Kumar gracefully accepted the position of first runner-up in Bigg Boss 17, expressing contentment and acknowledging Munawar Faruqui as a deserving winner. The Udaariyaan actor joined ETimes TV for a quick chat after the finale and opened up about Munawar’s victory, regretting his ugly fights with Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel and how he is a changed man now.
Munawar Jeeta Toh Apna Bhai Jeeta
To be very frank I wanted to win the show badly but when Munawar got the trophy I actually did not feel bad. Mujhe laga I would feel bad but Munawar ke alawa koi jeetta toh I would have felt bad. I remember during the third week we were discussing the finale and standing on the stage with Salman Khan sir. Two weeks ago he had mentioned that if I won the show, he wouldn’t feel bad and I also said the same thing. Also he did a very sweet gesture, he gave his trophy in my hands when Bigg Boss announced him as the Winner. Woh jeeta toh main bahut khush hoon but I also wanted to win the show, par Munawar jeeta toh Apna bhai jeeta. I am grateful, I would reach here so far without any fan following. Now, after I have come out everyone is saying that I was a deserving winner and I played well so it feels good to hear all this.
Bahut Patience Aa Gaya Hai Mujh Mein and I Want to Maintain It
Yes, I’ve felt the change in me from the time my mother entered the house. My mom assured me that everything is going good and I just need to not do certain things like talking rudely and disrespectfully to Ankita ji and Vicky bhai and fights with Isha-Samarth. Rest everything was fine about my Journey. If you must have noticed after that I’ve never been disrespectful towards Ankita ji. Even during fights I’ve been patient and with Isha also when she fought with me, I requested to talk to me nicely. Bahut patience aa gaya hai mujh mein and I want to maintain it because then I’ll be able to achieve things in life and be successful.
I Regret Saying Nasty Things to Isha During Fights
Yes, I regret saying nasty things to Isha during fights. Having said that I also know I did not mention anything about our outside life or personal life till 8 weeks. In fact, when she used to say things from my personal life, I used to get depressed and I used to go into a shell for the next two-three days. There were instances when she started and now I feel I shouldn’t have opened my mouth. I wish I kept quiet agar Woh kitchen waale matter mein Aur Ek do mauke pat I would have stayed silent toh cheezein itni kharab nahi hoti.
