General Hospital: Eden McCoy’s Return Date and Who’s Going on Leave
Eden McCoy, known to General Hospital fans as Josslyn Jacks, is set to return to the show next week after a brief sabbatical.
McCoy is expected to reappear on February 1 as Josslyn, where she will be helping her troubled friend, Adam, played by Joshua Benard, the real-life son of Maurice Bernard.
McCoy took a short break from the Soap Opera, which earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Performer on December 15. Fans were not aware of her departure until they tuned in the following Monday and found newcomer Courtney Fulk in her place as Josslyn.
McCoy took to social media in December to express her gratitude to her followers and provide an update on her life.
In a heartfelt message on social media, the actress wrote, “Wanted to hop on & wish everyone happy holidays. I think I’m gonna take some time off of Twitter, but first needed to give thanks for any of the support within the last few weeks. Been a strange year, but I still feel very lucky. Wishing everyone reading this love and health.”
Another General Hospital Star Takes a Leave of Absence
Meanwhile, another beloved resident of Port Charles is taking a break from the ABC Soap Opera. Nicholas Alexander Chavez, who plays Spencer Cassadine, will make his last appearance on January 31 on GH due to his commitment to season 2 of the Netflix anthology series, “Monster.”
Chavez and Cooper Koch will portray the notorious Menendez brothers in the upcoming season.
Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny have been cast as the parents in the anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan.
The season titled “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” will delve into the real-life story of the siblings who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents.
In addition to the scripted series, Netflix has secured exclusive access to Lyle and Erik Menendez for a forthcoming documentary feature.
