Domestic Box Office Collection
Despite the drop, Fighter has managed to collect ₹181.51 crore nett at the domestic Box Office in its first 13 days. The week one collection of the film was ₹146.5 crore. On day 9 (second Friday), the film earned ₹5.75 crore, on day 10 (second Saturday), it collected ₹10.5 crore, and on day 11 (second Sunday), it minted ₹12.5 crore.
Legal Notice Over Kissing Scene
On Tuesday, Fighter received a legal notice over a kissing scene between the lead actors. The notice was sent by Wing Commander Saumya Deep Das, an officer of the Indian Air Force. The notice alleges that the scene misrepresents the dignity of the Indian Air Force and devalues the sacrifices made by its officers.
Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.
