Dakota Johnson’s The Office Finale Experience: “Worst Time of My Life”
Dakota Johnson Opens Up About Her The Office Finale Cameo on Late Night with Seth Meyers
Dakota Johnson’s The Office Finale Experience
- Johnson was excited to be part of The Office finale, but she only expected to film for half a day.
- She ended up filming for two weeks, but she was barely in the final cut of the episode.
- Johnson said that the cast was sad and that there were “weird dynamics” going on behind the scenes.
- She also said that no one wanted to talk to her and that she felt like an outsider.
The Planned Spinoff That Never Happened
Johnson’s cameo in The Office finale was originally intended to set up a spinoff of the show.
The spinoff would have followed Pete (Jake Lacy), Clark (Clark Duke), and the new generation of Dunder Mifflin employees introduced during the series finale, including Dakota and Malcolm Barrett’s self-named character.
However, the spinoff never panned out, and Johnson is probably glad about that, considering her negative experience with filming the finale.
